DESCRIPTION

Tikka Masala was one of the first Indian delicacies to gain worldwide popularity. This creamy and mildly spicy delicacy is made from spices, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, and more. It is mainly made using lean meat or chicken. You can easily and quickly recreate this delicious recipe at home using this ready-to-cook Tikka Masala simmer sauce.

METHOD

  • Add a tablespoon of cooking oil in a saucepan. When it sizzles, add 350gm of chicken pieces. Stir fry them over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add half (60 grams) of the sauce to the saucepan, sprinkle over the contents of the spice cap, and stir-fry the mixture for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the remaining sauce (60 grams) and water into the saucepan. Cover it with a lid and let it simmer gently. Stir it occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked.
  • Garnish the Tikka Masala with fresh coriander and some fresh cream on the top to add to its richness, flavor and presentation.
